Louise Ryan
Associate
Louise has an undergraduate degree in Architectural History and an MSc in Historic Conservation. She has 8 years consultancy experience based in London and was previously an Associate Director at RPS where she managed a wide variety of development projects within the historic environment, including works to listed buildings, development within conservation areas, and schemes affecting the settings of heritage assets. At RPS she led on large urban regeneration and tall buildings schemes, both within and outside of London, and was instrumental in developing and leading the heritage team’s townscape and visual impact services. Louise was lead built heritage consultant for the award winning Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project – Tilbury 2.
Louise joined the Tavernor Consultancy in September 2019, becoming Associate in 2021. She leads the Consultancy’s input on projects and has gained particular experience in recent years advising on complex sites in the City of London, including the new City of London Law Courts and City of London police headquarters at Salisbury Square and large-scale office-led developments at 50 Fenchurch Street, 2 Finsbury Avenue, 1 Exchange Square and 1 Appold Street. She has also advised on significant schemes and masterplans in other boroughs and outside of London, including the Earls Court Masterplan, O2 Centre in Camden, the Nicholson Shopping Centre in Maidenhead and St Mungo’s Harrow Road in Westminster.
